Macaroni Salad
Traditional macaroni salad with the rich flavor of sour cream for added creaminess.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound dry elbow macaroni (small)
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped fine
  • 1/4 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1/4 red bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Cook macaroni according to directions on package; drain in colander and rinse. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, celery, onion, red bell pepper, relish, vineger, and mustard to a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Add macaroni to bowl and season with salt and pepper. Fold until dressing is evenly distributed.

Refrigerate for two hours before serving to develop flavors.
