Sloppy Joe Under a Bun

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cans sloppy joe sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions

Cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned; drain. Stir in sloppy joe sauce; mix well. Transfer to a 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish; sprinkle with cheese. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix, eggs and milk just until blended. Pour over cheese; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Serves 6
