Unsweetened Marinara
A little spicy, with a slight bitterness. This is the best there is for pizza.

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Put everything into a 2 quart saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.

Yields 5 cups
